# Right panel

Right panel shows all available properties depending on the context.

Depending on what you are currently working on, it can show

  • Slide properties
  • Properties of selected object (or group of objects)
  • Slide transition properties
  • Media library
  • Project settings

All properties are divided into the groups in accordance with their function. The groups can be minimized by clicking on their headers.

Slidelab Editor minimize panels

Some of the groups have a toggle switch to enable or disable the whole group (e.g. fill, stroke, animation).

So, if you, for example, set a background image overlayed by a semi-transparent gradient, you can disable both layers by switching the whole group off.

It is useful when you want to disable some properties, but you need to save their values in order to use them in the future. So, when you want to enable them again, you can do it in one click.

# Slide properties

Each slide has the following properties:

  • Background color
  • Background image
  • Image opacity
  • Background mode (boxed/fullscreen). Check Slide boundaries to learn about slide boxing types.
  • Image fill mode (stretch, cover, tile, custom)

You can open slide transition properties by clicking “Transitions” button at the bottom of the right panel.

# Selection properties

When you select an object or a group of objects, the right panel displays the properties of currently selected objects.

Objects of different types have different set of properties.

Here is the list of property-groups for a shape: Position and Geometry, Appearance, Shape, Fill, Stroke, Text, Animation.

The list of groups for a line will be as follows: Position and Geometry, Appearance, Stroke, Animation.

Each group will be described in details in the Groups chapter.
